Job Title: Evening Factory Operative

Reporting To: Factory Manager

Location: Lisburn

 

Job Summary

Carnbrooke is a family-owned business who currently operate a modern 2500 sq. ft Butchery & Food Hall retail business in Lisburn and a retail store in Dromore. Our state-of-the-art facilities including kitchen and factory production are based in Lisburn. We are seeking a Factory Operative with order picking responsibilities to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that orders are picked accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Main Duties:

– Pick orders accurately and efficiently

– Complete batch coding of products on computerised systems

– Ensure that all orders are properly labelled and packaged

– Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts

– Ensuring all factory activities are carried out in an accurate and timely manner complying with company policies and procedures, adhering to best practices

– Ensure thorough cleanliness of all preparation areas at the end of each shift

– Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to, including hygiene and PPE

Skills:

– Ability to read and understand pick tickets

– Attention to detail and accuracy

– Aware of and able to maintain, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards

– Ability to lift weights up to 25kilos

– Ability to work in a chilled fast-paced environment

– Good communication skills

– Ability to use computerised systems (training will be provided)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to £12.00 Per Hour

• 8 hour shift

Hours will be discussed at point of interview. 8 hour shift to completed within the time frame of 12pm-12am.
