Summary of the Role

Carnbrooke is a family-owned business who currently operate a modern 2500 sq. ft Butchery & Food Hall retail business in Lisburn and a retail store in Dromore. Our state-of-the-art facilities including kitchen and factory production are based in Lisburn. We are currently seeking to recruit a hardworking, reliable, physically fit individual to join our team.

Main Duties

• Receive incoming deliveries from suppliers, ensuring all quantities are correct and undamaged.
• Aid the management of stock, ensuring stock levels maintained and organised and tidied away.
• Keep the yard tidy and orderly at all times ensuring that there are no tripping hazards, or danger from falling.
• Lift materials and load vehicles when necessary, adopting safe lifting and handling procedures at all times.
• All other general maintenance, repair, assembly and fitting work as required
• Dealing with any related paperwork
• Speaking with drivers and loading/unloading using a forklift

Requirements

• To be physically fit as there is a high degree of manual lifting in the role.
• Forklift License: 1 year (required)
• Reliable and Punctual
• Able to use smart handheld devices
• Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Be used to working in all weather conditions
• Preferably have a good mix of general repair / maintenance / multi trader / handyman work experience

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From £12 Per Hour

25 Hour Week. Hours 7am -12pm (Hours flexible)

Experience:

• Forklift License: 1 year (Required)
• Previous experience of carrying out goods inwards inspections against delivery notes (Desirable)
