Summary of the Role

As our Field Sales Retail Merchandiser you will ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time to maximise sales and margin performance. You will decide which products our external retail concession stores should sell alongside the correct mix of products are stocked and displayed in order to achieve greater sales and maximise profits. You will visit each retail outlet to deliver stock and place orders. Deliveries and visits will be carried out in a company van.

The Role & Responsibilities

  • Communicating closely with, store managers and their team
  • Deciding which products should be stocked for each type and size of store.
  • Gathering information regarding customers’ reactions to products
  • Accessing and analysing sales information
  • Forecasting and planning sales & promotions
  • Monitoring slow sellers and ensuring that best sellers meet their full potential.
  • Ensuring that merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper signage and favourable shelf placement.
  • Tracking sales to monitor the performance of each product ensuring that stores are always supplied with sufficient range.
  • Suggesting special offers and discounts on products.
  • Maintaining friendly relationships with all stockists to uphold our reputation and to promote our company.
  • Performing competitor analyses to ensure that we always stay ahead of the game.

Your experience

  • Required knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in instore marketing. Implementation and upselling of promotions.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, analysis and distribute reports on a weekly basis.
  • Knowledge of retail trends with a fine attention to detail
  • Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Capability to forecast emerging trends and make creative decisions to promote smooth.
  • Experience of ordering, managing stock levels and short shelf-life products.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 25kilos
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Due to Company Fleet insurance all drivers must be a minimum of 25 and hold a valid licence for at least 1 year.
