Summary of the Role
Carnbrooke is a family-owned business who currently operate a modern 2500 sq. ft Butchery & Food Hall retail business in Lisburn and a retail store in Dromore. Our state-of-the-art facilities, including kitchen and factory production, are based in Lisburn. We are currently seeking to recruit a Cleaning Operative for our factory in Lisburn. This is a key role in our business as you will be responsible for the daily cleaning and washing of all our factory equipment, work surfaces, walls and floors.
Main Duties
- Carry out cleaning of the factory in line with company work instructions.
- Report all plant & equipment defects to factory operations manager to facilitate timely repairs.
- Cleaning to a high standard with a close focus on hygiene and tidiness.
- Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment.
- Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training.
- Completion of relevant paperwork.
Person Specification
- Experience of industrial/catering cleaning is desirable but not essential.
- The ideal candidate will be reliable and trustworthy to carry out tasks with the minimum of supervision.
- Ability to use initiative & problem solve as the need arises.
- Able to work in a chilled environment (PPE Provided)
